Why do I have to write something about what I'm sharing?
Because I said so. (But also because you'reprobably not a mindless human being incapable of giving an opinion on something, and there are probably more than a few people who have no idea what the frick it is that you're sharing, or why it's even worth the effort to download it.)
Why can't I request anything?
As of April 2011, requests are not allowed. This is not a permanent thing. The comm is slow, and I want to make sure there are enough people posting and sharing so the requests won't go ignored.
