- The community is members-only, meaning you must join the community to see the posts. Joining is as easy as clicking "join community" on the profile, or following this link.
- This community is for the sharing and critiquing of music only. If you want to share and talk about movies/tv shows/anime/books/manga, then you're not in the right place.
- Disclaimer: You are responsible for what you do and say about the music you download or share here.
On Posting
- It is necessary to write some sort of commentary on what you're sharing. It doesn't have to be an essay on why a certain song's/album's use of the violin transcends the boundaries of the artist's/band's genre, but it has to be more than posting a link on an uploading site with a tacked-on "I really liked this" at the end. (Hell, you don't even have to like it.)
- Tag all your posts with the appropriate tag(s).
• In regards to tagging bands/artists/soundtracks when their names start with "the" (e.g. "The Goo Goo Dolls" or "The Fray"): pretend "the" isn't there. So instead of tagging artist: t for The Goo Goo Dolls, you would tag artist: g, etc. Also: we tag by first name, not last. John Mayer would go under artist: j NOT artist: m. - At the moment (April 2011), musicshare is not allowing request posts. This is not a permanent thing (hence why a "! request" tag exists), but the post will be deleted, whether or not there's feedback.
